Welcome to the homepage of Volunteer State Rescue Services, also known as Volunteer State Rescue Squad. We are a non profit organization. We are a group of volunteers, working in Hamilton county, Chattanooga, Soddy Daisy, South Tennessee and North Georgia areas, performing water-borne rescue and recovery services. We work with police, detectives, paramedics, city and county governments performing a variety of fire fighting, rescue, recovery and monitoring services in the Tennessee river, and other waterways in the area. We often participate in rescue and recovery scuba dives in the rivers and lakes of the region.
